2007 Farming Machinery and Equipment Field Day

Traditionally local machinery dealers and farmers have had to travel considerable distances to display equipment, this doesn’t make a lot of sense given the time and financial constraints that we are all under.

CWFS after discussions with local dealers have decided to undertake the organisation of a local day that supports both the local machinery dealers and the local farmers to allow hands on interaction and information for everyone.

Our position with in the farming sector allows us to use our local networks to inform our farmers of the latest innovations in the industry

  • The date set is the Friday 23rd of February 2007
  • The event will be being held at the Condobolin Agricultural Research and Advisory Station, Trundle road Condobolin.
  • Starting time 9:30 am for a 10:00 am start with the day winding up around 3:30pm. BBQ lunch included.
  • Cost for exhibitors for this year will be nil, but a donation to Central West Farming Systems to help defray our costs for organising the event is requested.

We are looking to display innovations in the industry including guidance systems, spraying units, sowing setups, new types of points and harvesting equipment.

We will also have the LCMA on site to answer any questions that may be asked about minimum till.

There will be a strictly controlled restricted area set aside to demonstrate different sowing configurations and allow the public to experience the various technology and techniques on display.

For further information contact Debie O'Neill, Executive Officer, CWFS.
