Aim: The trial was set up to demonstrate the new chickpea varieties with suitability for the Central Western region. The trials aim to highlight the recent Ascochyta resistant varieties and test some agronomic attributes of the varieties as well. The trial is set up using farmer machinery with the intention of showing farmers ‘real life’ situations.
Location: Paddock 1, NSW DPI Agricultural research and Advisory Station, Condobolin.
